The EVCI product is split into three modular product options, "Standard Control", "Advanced Optimization" and "Flexibility Services".

"Standard control" contains everything required to safely operate a site, e.g. fuse protection, DSO signalling and peak shaving.

"Advanced optimization" builds on "Standard Control" and contains features that are help optimize the site further.

"Flexibility Services" deals with aggregation of sites to trade energy on energy market.

System requirements

To use the EVCI products, the following hardware components must be present:

  • Supported Charging Stations (EVCS):
The charging stations must be compatible. You can find the respective approved and required firmware versions directly in our Supported Assets List.

  • Grid Connection Point Meter (GCP Meter):
Only required if you use dynamic load management to monitor and control by real-time grid load. If you are utilizing static load management, a GCP meter is not necessary.

For network infrastructure requirements and troubleshooting, see Infrastructure requirements for the gateway.
