FAQ
Why isn't the meter appearing in the commissioning wizard?
Check that the RS485 A, B, and GND terminals are correctly connected to the gateway RS485 interface. Verify that the RS485 parity is set to E (Even) on the meter display. Restart the gateway and wait for the network scan to complete.
Do I need additional hardware for gridBox v4?
Yes, gridBox v4 does not have a built-in RS485 interface. You need a USB-to-RS485 converter — connect the meter's RS485 terminals to the converter, then connect the converter to a USB port on the gateway.
What is the default passcode for the settings menu?
The default passcode is 1000. Enter it using the keypad buttons to access the configuration menu.
What if I have forgotten the passcode?
Perform a factory reset on the device to restore the original factory state. Refer to the manufacturer's documentation for reset instructions.
